Hello! My name is Lukas and I enjoy creating simple solutions for complex problems.
My interest in software development started back in 2016 when I decided to study Information Management — turns out hacking together an own website taught me a lot about the basic coding concepts!
Fast-forward to today, and I've have the privilege to work as a Software Developer at one of the largest banking IT service providers in Europe.
As a Software Developer I specialized in building exceptional digital experiences.

As a software developer, I participate in various agile projects within the company. Beside managing calculation applications for bank control, I also work on the modernization of COBOL-based programs.

As a teamleader, it is my task to monitor ongoing projects and to actively work on them. Furthermore, I take over the communication to the client and assign strength-oriented tasks within the team. Smart Home - Interactive Floor Plan
Smart Home - Interactive Floor Plan
The smart home is based on Google's open-source platform "Home Assistant",which is installed on a Raspberry Pi 4.
In addition to automations, the smart home also has a interactive floor plan for simple control via the tablet and smartphone.
A click on a lamp in the room switches it on or off. If the user keeps the button for the lamp pressed, he gets more setting options like brightness or color of the light source.
